The Project
The Peaceful Actions for The enhancement of Human Services (PATHS) is a non profit organization recognized as exempt under section 501 (C) (3) in the internal revenue code. PATHS, in line with its vision centered on the promotion of human dignity would like the population of the division of N’ Zérékoré in the Republic of Guinea in West Africa to have access to the Internet by creating a cybercafé and a computer training facility.
The advantages offered by this new technology in the area of communication will reiforce human capabilities, the development of democracy and therefore peace and justice. PATHS is calling people of good will to support this project.
Description Of The Project
This project will create a cybercafé, a computer training facility with a Copy center.
This project is about building the possibility of a high speed Internet connexion by VSAT for the population namely schools, civil servants and offer the possibility for computer training.
For that purpose, we would like to install

A 40 computers cybercafé with access to the Internet

A 20 computers two levels training center

A phone call box via Internet
-
A Copy Center for copy, printing, scanning and word processing.
This project is located down town in an accessible area. It will be opened for the public with focus on youth towards whom training will be geared.
